At the Physics Society, we believe that mental health and wellbeing is an extremely important topic that should be talked about more in the field of STEM. As a member of the Physics Society, we want you to feel comfortable and safe at our events, as well as enjoy them! We also want you to feel like you can talk to a member of our committee if you feel that something is wrong. This is why we have introduced the role of a Welfare Officer to our 2020 committee. The Welfare Officer will be a point of contact for you and will help with the department/society collaborative wellbeing events.

These wellbeing events are an opportunity to talk about different issues surrounding wellbeing at University, as well as chill in a relaxed environment. Our first wellbeing event planned was on the topic of exam stress. All resources on the event, and future ones, can be found here.
